Piza Delivery
To tip or not to tip the counter person when I pick up pizzas?
At places like Piza Hut, and Pa Johns, etc, when I order two 2-topping pizzas. What is the going rate? What is the rate when it’s a home delivery? Some places have a $1.5 or 2 delivery surcharge, sometimes that’s shared, so I add another $2.

You don’t tip the counter person, they are just ringing up your order. They are most likely not the person who actually made your pizza. The counter staff and cook staff get paid higher wages than table waiters. Delivery staff usually makes minimum wage plus tips, but pays for their gas. The counter person is the last person you should be tipping.
If you really feel the need to tip when you pick up pizza, ask to see the person who actually made your pizza, then tip that person.
